Small Cities | Big Futures ID3A Jam
WHY WE JAMMIN?
In light of recent;
RESEARCH – population decline and the loss of young adults in Pittsfield and Berkshire County (the Berkshire Initiative for Growth Report)
NEWS – Pittsfield ranked the most boring city in MA by Business Insider,
VIBES – “ i’m not from here, but the major thing I don’t see from community members in the city is pride in their city” – Intergenerational Conversations Group member
We’re jammin on all the opportunity our city has to offer.
Join us as we build a new narrative for Pittsfield as a desirable place for young adults to work, play, and grow.
It’s time for our the change makers and action takers of this community to author our city’s narrative.
We’re pulling together a select list of Forward Thinkers, Artists, Disruptors, Entrepreneurs, and Dream Builders – because we believe reshaping the future is done through ideation, collaboration, and action takers working together to see ideas through to fruition.
Oh, and you’re on that list 🙂
We’ll kick things off with some music and games to get everyone in creative spirits for the event, and beverages and horderves will be served!
We are excited to announce our partnership with Common Folk Artist Collective in North Adams, who are expanding their artist and creative network to Pittsfield and have agreed to facilitate the Idea Jam.
After the Idea Jam itself, we have an after party in the works for everyone to hangout and get to know one another. More details coming soon!
A Big Thanks to Tim, Scott, Liz, and Rebecca from Framework who have agreed to host us in their new coworking space on North Street in Downtown Pittsfield.
